Been playing the past few months relearning the game and I am not sure what I want to play for RvR.

Since I have no friends or a guild I suppose I should play something that is solo-possible.

I have two accounts and after some brief testing, being run over by mostly groups (non-stealth classes) would my only real option be a steathing class?

P.S. I do know that as a solo player those 3+ groups will be a constant bane. I do not have a realm preference just looking for somethign that weill be enjoyable till I can find a home somewhere.

Personally I think you're better off joining a large guild asap.

Ibdaes, Getting into a guild and making friends is somthing that will fall into your lap over time while playing. Depending on what realm you play a good way to meet people is the Battlegroups. Its like speed dating. You will eventully be but into a group of people that you like and you may want to become friends or join their guild. Though i dont recomend the Battlegroups forever because they rarley yeild as much Rps as 8v8 would. But then agin its all about your playstyle.

As for what class to pick its all up to you. if you REALLY wanted to any class can be good in a group some classes automaticly get sorted out. Such as Stealthers, and Less understood classes ( Classes that had a Bad rep ) For instance the Necromancer used to have a really bad rep but i have seen ALOT more PvP necromancers latley and alot of them in 8 mans thus deminishing the Bias aginst them. Another Example. I have seen Infiltrators Lead Very strong 8v8 Groups. I have seen scouts play a good role in the group set up. Though i think the most popular Archer specs are the Daywalker ones ( with no Stealth ) that way you can melee if you find yourself getting inturupted. in all honesty your chosen class will somtimes not be the first for groups to desire but that can change if you make a good rep for yourself.

Now im not going to tell you what realm to play or what class ( that is for you to decide ) just remember that every class is gona have that drawback. If you play a "solo" class remeber that you will get Ganked, ran over, Zerged down. thats just part of the life of a soloer. Or if you wanna play a Group/BG Caster/healer. You are going to die ALOT thats also somthing you need to get used to. If you play Melee You will find yourself somtimes bored in Keep raids because there isnt much you can do from the keep wall. Though your results Will vary will all of the above depending on who you are with and how well you work by yourself or with your team.

Just let me end this with 1 final note. If you dont wanna play a "solo" Class Dont!!! you will Find a guild and you will find friends its just a test of time is all.

If you have any questions Feel free to send me a /tell on Kamlauaut-ywain2 in Albion ill be willing to talk to you in game.

If you actually like soloing I would recommend a class that can both solo, but also do some decent ranged damage in siege/zerg fights. That way you can always mix soloing with large scale fights (because there will always be bad days when it comes to soloing).

Some examples:

Hib: Eldritch, Mentalist, Valewalker
Alb: Sorcerer, Heretic, Cleric
Mid: Shaman, Thane, Warlock

Don't start with nothing and then try to roll a stealther. you'll have no problem sitting around on your own and avoiding full groups, but you'll need a much more competitive template to stand any chance against other stealthers, and even then you'd better also be a good RR too, or your screwed.

Find a large friendly guild that does a bit of PvE and PvP too, and make a group friendly character. You can make a stealther too, but don't rely only on that for now..
