Hi Guys, is there an updated Hib leveling guide around that anyone is aware of? I'm rolling up an Eld and trying to plan out where to level. Thanks in advance!

Isn't it the same in all 3 realms?

Task Dungeons.

The repeatable quests in Hills of Claret, Killaloe and Thidranki are also excellent exp and an early source of aurulite.

1) Starter area - Leave this somewhere between 6 & 16 depending on which free armour set you want to stay for (there are 3 - c.L5, L10, L15).

2) BGs. - Do the quests for ridiculous XP & Aurulite.

You might want to do some Aurulite dungeons for more Aurulite but it'll really slow you down.

It says a lot about the state of the game when the best way to level pretty much has you miss every bit of the quest and storyline content.

Eabiowaremythic should scale all OLD quests so leveling via quests becomes a viable alternative to TDs. I haven't done the math but it seems like original quests should pay 5x XP, Shrouded Isles quests 4x, ToA quests 2x. Any quest created for DR and after seems to pay reasonable XP.

Doesn't really matter how much more XP you get from the content, from a practical point of view, repeatables level you faster.

When I was leveling in Alb, I thought it would be a nice break from task dungeons if I went and did my level 30 champion quests. The ratio of running to doing was so ridiculous I decided to go back to TD's and just talk to the king at 50.

Granted, porting with the channelers to snowdonia/camelot/avalon marsh helped immensly, but you're still buying a horse or running great distances so you can talk to 1 NPC, or kill 1 mob for most of the steps... I quickly grew bored. The last 2 steps of the quest were finally something a little more involved. I actually started to enjoy those last 2 quests, only I found out that I couldn't solo the last dungeon... so it was either LFG or back to leveling. I had to go back to leveling.

I hate TDs. They're simply the most efficient way I've found to level, and that's my goal right now.
