I'm new to Mid and haven't leveled any toons in years.

I seam to remember a quest that granted a free set of armor.

I am lvl 15.

What lvl armor sets can you get from the quest?

Who and where do I get these quest from?

The Tutorial basically gives you 2.5 sets of armor if you do all the quests but the best armor you get turns blue around 15. After that you may be able to pick up some pieces from starter quests in Mag Mell, Ardee, Mularn, Vasudhiem, Cotswold, and Ludlow. Also, all the lower level battlegrounds have repeatable quests that score you XP and aurulite. There is a vendor there too that will take your aurulite and turn it into armor and jewelry.

The aurulite armor/weapons/jewelry you can get in Killaloe is really great for leveling. I highly recommend it, plus the experience gained from the quests (and the kills required by the quests) is excellent.


I used my thidranki aurulite armor in task dungeons well into my 30's. The armor finally turned grey so I wasn't getting good AF from it, but all my important attributes were still overcapped. I used the trainer supplied chest/weapons as well, but they stop after level 30.


Beyond that, you're going to have to quest for it or buy stuff from peoples merchants in housing. This is what I ended up doing after 35.
