Thanks for sharing. That was a pretty decent read. Everyone, except the powers that be at EA seems to get the fact that this game, while being old, is a darn good game, worthy of attention.

I couldn't sit through the full 30 minute video, but enjoyed reading the article. I bet DAoC could support 250k subscriptions with a re-release or sequel, easily.
It was pretty funny to see all the noober things he was doing, like taking his helm off rather than /helm off.
I also wrote his character's name down. If he ever makes it to NF, he'll be eating a stun nuke and some rofl spam. Getting one's cherry popped in RvR like that is what builds the fire inside to keep coming back.

US$5/month per account I could probably justify. Free to play with microtransactions I could also handle.
