Just wondering if its always been this way that visibles using stealth lore items, seem to easily find you, and from quite long range.. :S

Saw one from a fg be like 1000 range away and he ran directly towards me (they knew I was there since I speed-bursted away from them hehe), and yes, I got 50 total stealth =)

Well at least saw someone mention in /region it was borked right now.. true?

If they know about where you stealthed, then SL has a good chance of finding you. If you had some guy b-line from a mile away and SL you, most likely you previously used a charge or something to pop you in/out of stealth, and you left a ghost in that position. This ghost is often seen a mile away by enemies, it's the black translucent image that you see of yourself when stealthed. So if you're still in the vicinity of that ghost (which you can't see yourself), then they will pop SL charge and look for you, and often find you. (So don't rebuff or /use stuff near where you're hunting. Walk off a bit to do these things, then come back to your hunting spot.)

SL givens something like ~450 detection range to visis IIRC.

Everyone's high rr now (ya ya new alts don't count) and they generally have SL items (or at least one) in their temp for just such occasions. They know having a SL item or two = some free rp every 10-15 mins (unless your a hib in which case your group has perma SL ftw).

Sooo...if visis know your around unless they are soloers (haha do those exist anymore other than their own bridge,laby, or horseyguy?) they gonna pop speed 5 SL and dig you up for the free rp.

The pendulum has swung. If your not a cheese#@ck scout (I'm really being kind there, truly) the game is stacked against stealth now. Hell guards don't even respect vanish which puts a major damper on the keep gank fun.

Still fun, I guess because of the challenge and you don't have to do the lfg thing for 2 f'n hours and have a mic shoved up your azz to play but ya, somewhere between there and here mythic decided to stick a giant dil#@ up stealthers azzez...

which of course led to stealth zergs but that's another QQ whaaaaa!

fack if they at least had old bridges..or something...anything that could be used for a bit of strategery (other than water.../puke, keeps would be cool but van don't work so meh) it would spice things up but all the gud stuff has been systematically removed to where i'ts 4 walls a mosh pit...imho...mosh pit with boats /double puke.

edit to add - ya i know im a mid and i know locks are SUPER SUPER SUPER never shoulda happened and the true crime is it was ALLOWED TO CONTINUE cheese, I will even venture to say they make scouts look honorable /barfs on himself....but just because some mids have redefined the word ghey (it's mythics fault for making is possible) does not mean that scout ghey is ok .

On the subjec of Locks...to err is human...to realized an error and correct it in a timely manner resulting in a positive outcome is what a smart professional human does (at least that's what we're taught in the airline bus). So I guess the Mythic devs are human...and no more.
