So I'm getting back into the game and I wanted to transfer my guild from Hib/Igraine to Ywain. I still have toons in the guild on Igraine that I left there intentionally, so no problem right? Just log in, that toon will be auto promoted because it's the only active in the guild and I'll /gc transfer and noob it up on Ywain.

Problem is it's not auto promoting. I've searched the knowledge bases, FAQs and forums about this and tried to find a reason it would not be working. I didn't think it was an "emergency" appeal so I thought instead of bothering a CSR that has more important things to deal with I'd drop them an email. I wrote an email with all of my info, but received a reply back that I had to appeal in game.

This is what I did, submitted an appeal. That was 5 days and over 50 online hours later. Since I worked from home this week, I logged my toon in on Igraine and just checked in on it so I wouldn't miss a CSR message. I still have an active appeal as of tonight and I've been logged in all day. First, is there something I can do or something I'm missing so I can stop waiting? I'm just sitting here on an archived server with nothing to do. Secondly, is it normal to wait this long?

I thought that it takes being active for 21 days before it will auto-promote.

I thought something like that may be the case, but when I received an email back from Mythic they didn't mention this. Instead they told me to appeal in game. And I didn't read about any time limit on any of the KBs or FAQs.

Still waiting on a reply. All I want is a straight answer, if I have to wait that's fine.

Not sure I'll continue my free 10 days if this isn't resolved, or at the very least I get some kind of response.

Might want to try appealing on an active server rather than the archived server. Might make a difference. Once you actually talk to a CSR, then switch servers.
