I was fighting one on my ranger in Thid and in both instances, one with rapid fire shot with bow and other with melee styles, he cast spells the whole time. Even getting behind him seemed to do no good. I know some of it might have been Lag as there has been alot recently but during my melee fight, i got the jump on him and for 3 cycles of me hitting and him hitting this went on so he was not interrupted at all. With the amount of dmg they can put out, it would seem silly that they could not be interrupted also.

The best way to interupt a warlock is with a donkey punch at the char creation screen

Well the orbs floating around their heads are sorta insta cast (definitely not interruptible), and in RvR they will almost always use their un-interrupted casting ability...costs a buncha POW, but POW doesn't really matter much anymore anyway, so that's kinda moot.

When you see the swirly lights that look like the MoC animation...that means they're casting UI. When they stop casting like that for a second they are probably in the process of chugging a POW pot or /use 50% POW replenish ability, before they commence...


Yeah they basically get MoC for "free" and are almost always casting UI unless they don't feel they need to.

yes they are except from the floating bolts they have an uninteruptable "primary cast" spell
