Is this a good scout spec?

50 bow, 36 stealth, 42 shield, 20 thrust. Last time i played was like ToA, and last i remember the highest you could get + to skills from items was +14 so it would make 36+14 50 stealth. Is this still a good spec for a 50 scout or can items make stealth higher now?

If you are only rr3 then yes this is a good spec, i would spec one the same way except thrust would be slash!
others might say take bow lower and melee higher, but not me

Slash because it does more damage, BUT thrust has some good styles, and i say rr3 because +11(base +'s) and the +3 from RR is the +14
Higher your RR, lower your stealth goes
you can go +15 and be above 50 composite but for stealth it really make no difference

Ok thanks ill probably go slash then. I originally had slash on my scout like 5 or 6 years ago on mordred but at the time thrust seemed better so i switched.

You aren't going to do much melee damage with a sniper spec anyway, so I'd just stick with thrust. You'd need to go 29 slash to get amethyst slash anyway and thus lower either your stealth or archery. My scout is specced similarly to what you are considering only I have lower stealth since I am R6.

The only way I would spec slash is if I were a Highlander or Briton. You have far better luck slammming and pb pb pb. Scouts don't do great mele damage until very high RR and even then, its not great.

I agree that this appears to be sniper spec. You won't be in melee too often, if you are you're not doing it right. hehe. Best bet is use arrows until they close to melee, then slam, point blank, point blank, point blank, or slam and run if they're still pretty healthy. So your melee isn't all that important. If you insist on melee, combined 51 in melee weapon skill is the best set up with the points available. That means skill plus bonuses give you a level 51 (ex. 36 +15 thrust). Personally, I would not drop my bow below 50, and i would max falcon's eye ASAP, but I'm not an expert.
