Hi all!
I am a returning EU player. After finding out how to regain my old account (the main site points you in the wrong direction pffft) I activated my account last wednesday. Ok all fine.
When the first server maintenance had been done I transfered five of my archived characters from prydwen to Ywain servers. Ran around for a bit just feeling the old daoc atmosphere. Then get the message that the servers will be brought down for emergency maitenence. No biggie.
After an update that they will re-roll the servers I decide to leave it to the next day.
When I log in the next day, obviously my characters are no longer on Ywain. The problem is they are no longer on Prydwen either.
I first sent an email to support but "due to the sensetivity of the matter" I was requested to call them.
I called and they could see that my characters had been transfered and that they are no longer on Ywain. Good spent money on that oversea phone call! They understood my frustration and asked me to put an in-game appeal. Which I have done. Two things. Firstly the appeal box isn't really optimated for explanation and what am I supposed to file this under anyway? Filed it under character bug.
It's been 72 hours since I put in the appeal, /checkappeal says I have no active appeals. Customersupports tells me to hang in there and not put in a second appeal.
Atleast I can play on my 38 scout in molvik that I transfered just to have something to do <shrugs>
Do you guys think I will be able to retrive my characters or should I just leave it and start over? I don't feel like giving another oversea call. And since I am european my game time is probably not optimized for CSR I think.
