Hey me and a couple friends signed up for the 14 day free trial and wanted to know a couple things while the game downloads. 1st of all which server should we roll on as well as faction. My friend use to play a long time ago as an ALB on Lancealot. Has his characters and server been deleted? Also is there any classes to avoid as your 1st character? I would like to be a ranged DPS character (Leaning toward scout). Also when recommending a server I would like to be on a heavier populated server as when we played Warhammer when the server pop was low it wasn't much fun.

Thanks!

His character is still there, but he will have to move him. I think the info is here: http://camelotherald.com/section.php?id=47

As for the rest of your questions, seems you are going with Alb. I'm not much of a fan of alb, but I would try to go with a good archetype as a first character to get a good feeling of playing. Ywain is one server with 10 lobbies. If you go Ywain, you will join everyone.

welcome to DAoC!

midgard and albion are the most populated realms currently with hibernia being the least populated. but i wouldn't worry about that much, i'd look over the classes you can play and pick the realm according to which classes you three like the most of a particular realm and go from there. you may want to pick different archtypes like one go a healer class, another a DPS class, and another a CC (crowd control) class as this way you get the best of the archtypes together and be more self sufficent in terms of you three in both PvE and RvR settings. but i'd always choose playing the class that interests you most or seems like the most fun above anything else. do you have any other questions? keep us updated!

hope you enjoy DAoC!

I have a few classes I want to re-level so it doesn't matter, I'll create a new one on Sunday to join in too.

It is good to see Hibernia is still the red-headed stepchild.

Cheesehammer: Age of the Regen Train, good luck killing it.
Somewhere "south" of $100million to develop, and now subscriptions are somewhere south of 100k, gotta love the irony.
