I just returned to the game with a handful of close RL friends. We really missed a lot about this game, but one thing that stands out is the community. I'm even happy to peruse the VN trolling.
We're looking for an existing guild with the following on Mid (Ywain) if it's out there:
-Casual (game not a job)
-Active (bigger or growing guilds may be preferable)
-Social (willing to help others, have guildwide events, etc.)
-Helpful (tolerant of the fact that we'll be shaking the dust off of DAoC skills in some ways)
I always loved having guilds to mobilize for RvR, help people with that last piece in their template, or even start crazy thid groups (full of one class or another just for kicks). If any guilds seem to match this criteria out there, please shoot me a private message.
Also, if anyone else is interested and unable to find a good match, send me a message. I don't particularly want to be a sole GM of a guild, but if there were a handful of people running the thing, I'd be interested in starting up. Despite the fact that there may only be pink/brown emblems left.
