My partner and I have been bitten by the nostalgia bug and fancy coming back to DAoC. Trouble is, we'd like to use our EU chars from way back.

Have we missed the opportunity to transfer those chars to the US server? When we try clicking on the link for EU transfers, it seems to be broken. When my other half logs he doesn't have any chars at all on any of the servers, not even the archived ones.

Not really sure where to start - does anyone have a working link to some up to date info? (or maybe the EU chars have been deleted now?)

It kinda depends on what EU-server we're talking about. What server/cluser was it that you used to play at?

Your login, is the same as on your old account, but you also have to add "_eu", the password should be the same.

For example, if your login used to be "mohahaimback", it's now "mohahaimback_eu".

Thank you very much ...although I don't seem to be having much success so far!

We used to play on Prydwen. We're using my partner's account to start with (not tried mine yet).

He can log into EA Account Management with his old login and _EU after it. He can also login to the game with the same login.

But when he chooses the Prydwen server, there are no characters there (he had a full set in Albion). He also had chars on Glastonbury which are also gone.

He tried logging into Ywain servers but there are no chars there either :/

Ahhh. no characters. You may be unlucky, under GoA's tenure some characters were 'lost' / 'scrambled'. They sepnt a long time trying to fix everything but ....


Albion Prydwin - I used to be Circle of Power / Guardians of Power way back

Yes, we'd like to transfer them to Ywain, but we have to find them first

If they are lost, then that's a shame - although I guess it wouldn't be too bad to restart.

And hello gervaise1, I remember Guardians of Power very well . We were members of Griffon Knight .

Did you guys actually click on the symbol for your realm? It is kind of confusing and one assums all Characters are gone...but they are not, you just have to chose a realm where you once played.
