Do people still fart around in Thid?
I am looking for a fun diversion and I thought about reactivating if Thid still has action. All my friends are gone and I don't have the time I used to so big boy RvR isn't really what I am looking for right now.

Action is hit or miss. Mids have destroyed the BG by humping CK with BDers, locks, and shamans. Additionally, they'll close holes as fast as you make them...so there really isn't incentive to just go out and get farmed from the wall.

I just started playing again too. I only play Thid because I found that late game RVR is terrible.
Anyway, I've enjoyed the last week or so in Thid as either an alb or mid. There are times when there are gangs of all of the realms out and demolishing each other.
Come join us and have fun. Don't listen to the previous poster I've seen ALBS and HIBS own the CK too.

And you have the midwinter quest active in each of the battlegrounds now through January 14th. You can find Olibar, the Midwinter Tomte, in Castle Sauvage, Svasud Faste, and Druim Ligen.

For the most part, Mids dominate Thid. Alb zerg camps APK while Hibs only come out late at night to take the CK, and then log on their animists. While BDs and Locks are OP in Thid, so are Thuergists, Necros, Minstrels, and Mercenaries. If the Alb zerg would leave their pk for once, they would realize how successful they could become, as they have the NF zerg down pretty good. Hibs have OP classes as well, but they do not have the numbers that the Mids and Albs do.
Edit: Almost forgot, most Hibs that do play during prime time play Nightshades.

Albs dont do well in Thid because there are no active clerics because clerics are boring as hell. Why play something that can heal and single stun when you can play something that heals and ae cc everything? Same deal with Hibs, no incentive to play Druid, no one does, and they never come out to play.
