I've had my skald at ML9 for many, many years. I'm sitting on ~2500 bounty points and no glass and I'm confused about what exactly I need to do for ML10, since the ML10 xp/checklist UI window only goes up to 9. When I go to the sphynx I see I can buy the complete ML10 credit for 4800 BP, which I don't have. Do people still do ML10 normally (and can I even get in on this?), or am I stuck having to purchase it? Can I buy it with glass and if so, is farming glass a realistic option? I only have about 5 plat so buying it probably isn't going to be happening either.

You can buy ML10 credit with BPs or Atlantean Glass. If it costs 4800 BPs, then it will also cost the same amount in glass. There are NPC Sphinx's surrounding the outer edge of the entry area in the area where you buy credit, and character-looking NPCs on the edge of the pit surrounding the blue portal in that same area. Those NPCs will sell credit for Atlantean Glass, while the Sphinx's will sell it for Bounty Points. Glass sells cheap in housing now; you may be able to find one glass = one gold.

Your options include:
1. Farm Glass to buy ML10.
2. Buy ML10 credit from another player who uses their BPs to buy the credit token.
3. Buy Glass from housing.
3. Go on ML10 raid. It happens from time to time, some guilds/alliances do it regularly.
4. RvR more till you get the remaining BPs needed to purchace the token on your own.

Any artifact or ML encounter will get you Glass, as does killing any semi-intelligent or magical creature in ToA zones. ML/Artifact encounters will drop more glass at a time than killing all but the highest con mobs, but you may get more chain killing lower con mobs anyways, depending on the encounter.

You can also get glass as rewards playing Trifecta, and from opening the war chests found in higher level keeps in NF using the keys that drop when your group gets the deathblow on the keep lord.
