Is this possible?

Several of my friends and I came back after sevral years. The problem is that i followed a friend, who Jumped on Ywain1, which seems to be one (if not the one) primary server. Which means that the Entire housing area is full, so there isnt a lot free (if there is, its not one we can afford). And since we cannot buy lots on a different servers (this is lame, btw) im wondering if we can switch to a lower volume server.

Yes i know we can make toons on the other servers and make houses, but im worried that if we log out there with our mains, it will just keep switching us back to Ywain1, instead of the server we logged out on (which would be were are houses are)

So.. can we switch now that we hastily moved our toons over to 1 without realizing the situation?

No need to worry. You can gather your chars at your house and log in and out as you wish. They will still be at your house when you log back in no matter which server they are from. I´ve got chars on 3 Ywain servers and only one house for all.

This would be a nice feature. I have more Hib toons than fit on one server and I'd love to shuffle them around so my latest BG toons and my most frequently played 50s were all on the same server. I don't expect it to happen but it seems like it wouldn't be difficult.

Oh? that works when you have a house? Cause when i logged out in the housing zone (no house) on another server, i logged back in on ywain1. If it will keep me on the right server when i have a house (im guessing when i house bind) then that wont be so bad. Still be a pain to pay rent and such tho heh)

This is not true, i just tested it to be sure. Went to housing entrance transferd to Ywain 1 and logged out completely. Started the game new and logged back in, i was still on Ywain 1. I can´t see a problem paying rent either, just use the house settings "House Friend Level Permissions / Access"

I have had that issue only one time. I was at a house to buy something, logged out at that house for some reason to check something on another toon and when I logged back in I was at the appropriate lot number, but not on the Ywain server I logged out on. It happened 2x (experimented to see if it glitch was repeatable using the same toon and same house location). However, I have had multiple other toons log on different Ywain housing servers and log back in to where ever I left them without that glitch.

You might try binding at the house you want to stay connected to and see if that helps.
