Try this:

Download the game DAoCSetup.exe from the Herald download page

http://l3-cdn2.nap.eamythic.com/daocpatch/installer/DAoCSetup.exe

Then run the DAoCSetup.exe file that you downloaded and it should create a game file in /program files/Electronic Arts/Dark Age of Camelot

In that game folder there should be a Camelot application. Run the Camelot application and the game should start patching. If the game patching process is stopped and restarted, the patch should resume where it left off.

Edit:

I have not done a full download in a long time so I just tested the DAoCSetup.exe.

The patcher does not have a ‘stop’ or ’resume’ button but if you ‘cancel’ the patch and then later restart Camelot.exe, the patch will start again and resume where it left off.

I have not tested it in a long while but I believe so, yes.

Just log in with the trial account name and password and you should be fine.

yeah, there aren't trial-specific limitations to the game or the account. When you make a 14-day free 'trial' account, you have access to the full game. Then if you want, you can start paying for the account as it is now just a normal account. There's nothing different from any other account.
