sometimes yes, sometimes no..

sometimes they cant even if they wanted too... as the data for deleted characters isnt stored indefinately.. it could get wiped 5 minutes after you delete.. it could get wiped 6 months after..

its kind of random... just depends on if someone else makes a toon of simular name, or you recreate another character in the same server/slot ..

the only way to get a true answer is by talking to a CSR and seeing if they will do it... the playerbase cant tell you if mythic still has the data saved from the character

Characters, once deleted, go into the recycle bin. as long as you have a free character slot your char can be restored.
BUT: every patch mythic makes changes at the database and and once this happens, your character can't be restored anymore.

So restoration only works (or rather said your chances are high) within the same patchcycle.

If you're able to phrase your /appeal in german, you'll get a very competent csr, who has over a decade of experience doing this

I thought I heard a lonnngggg time ago (Sanya Era) that so long as you don't create another character they can restore your toon if deleted.

That stinks if every patch the "recycle bin" essentially gets cleared though

I deleted my sorc several times in an effort to never come back. They were always able to restore it though. No one ever took my name after deleting the character though. And it remained deleted over several patches. I am pretty sure it comes down to someone else making another character with the same name over it. I have this problem several months ago when I wanted to restore a low level RM I had made, but deleted and made another character with the same name. Long story short, they couldn't find the character I had deleted. Naming over it must have caused it to eventually disappear from their records.
