This lvl 24 small shield has to be bugged, http://camelot.allakhazam.com/item.html?citem=32562. First off I've yet to get it to proc on any of my toons, i've tried a 24 Mins, 39 Arms, and 50 Pally. Threw thousands of earth pets at them and not one proc. Secondly I find it hard to believe Mythic would put a 25% reactive haste proc on a lvl 24 item. Reactive haste procs are very rare to begin with, and to put it on a lvl 24 small shield just seems out in left field.

In addition to all the testing and logs I ran on the Mins/Arms/Pally, I have been using this shield on my 39 Arms in molvik for the past 3 weeks and have not had it proc once. Does anyone currently use this shield and had it proc? I'm curious to know if I'm doing something wrong or haven't figured out the secret.

It's not bugged, it's a legit super op'd shield from the re-vamped items in cats.

You'll find that this shield won't proc in pve, duels with pets count as pve, it's proc rate in rvr is around 10%.


in thid it's generally a "i win" proc, in molv it's a "i win 90% of the time" proc.


p.s i use that shield on a number of my thid/molv toons and tonight i saw a mid valk with one in molv. i had thought it was a alb only shield, but i guess i was wrong.

if your making thid/molv templates spend a few days farming the lower dungeons theres a number of op bg items to be found.

Thats odd that they would restrict the proc to rvr situations, have never heard of that before. I assume this proc works the same as the celerity proc on FSLS, meaning it'll stack with the haste pots? That would be great if it does, now if I can just get it to proc in a fight, guess i'll have to start running chatlogs to determine proc rate on it.

Shield procs have never worked in PvE.

Probably because shield heal procs would be OP'd.

the shield, staff and a number of rings/bracers/necklaces good for molv can be found in catacombs of cardova in cornwall.(bottom lvl)

other good thid lvl gear can be found in the barrows and mithra's tomb.

Playing Mid and (especially)Alb for the BG's I found a lot of pretty decent Cata gear for Thid and Molv, not a hell of a lot available for Hib though.

you're kidding right? hib got the best of the new items imo, a ring/bracer with 2/2/2% on it? robes with 5% damage?


the way it looks to me is alb got the hybrid stuff, mid got the tank stuff and hib got the magic stuff. each also got alot of misc rings/bracer etc, but by far hib got the best of it.
