Good afternoon friends and foes of Dark Age of Camelot!
Bioware-Mythic has announced that a strange plague has affected many Half Ogres, Trolls and Firbolgs in each of the realms; altering them into childlike beings. The Matrons of the realms were requested to take care of these and can now be found in the capitol cities. Players above level 45 can speak with them to learn how they can support the new training of these freshly youthful beings. Depending on your realm, this event will make you responsible for one little Half Ogre, Troll, or Firbolg, who will have different tasks for you in the weeks to come.
Accept challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory. Are you ready to meet the challenge?

Cute. a little berzerker. Hitting lvl 1 mobs for for 45 at lvl 5. It is a regular pet, so you can buff him with your pet only buffs, like BD damage add.

There'll be more quests for your li'l pet in the coming weeks. It was actually kind of fun to see the old dungeons again.
It reminded me of the days before SI where you'd wait at PKB for a Mithra group upon hitting level 8 and praying there'd be someone in there that could rez.
Good times. I sometimes wish for the days where it was actually hard to level and we could explore the realms that we were part of.
Getting 50 was a major task and you worked for that /20.
Man, I hope there are more back to the old dungeons quests that go on...Hell, I may even take a run through Keltoi for old time's sake.

If your a BG player its good to hit those dungeons. Sweet loot with 2% magic damage, 5% healing bonus, with stat caps

So what's the point of these little guys?
How high can we level them, cause if we can't get them to at least blue to us (same as summoned pets) then what good are they?
Can we give them weapons to equip instead of keeping them bitchslapping everything?
Is this a way of letting non-pet classes have pets that are actually usable?
