1  open your journal.
2 select the quest.
3 click remove quest.

Have to select the quest goal, not the quest. Otherwise the option to "remove quest" isn't selectable.
Sry, not used to the caveman UI.

It's been nearly 6 years for me. I don't remember how it used to be, or if it was easier.
My measuring stick is WoW.
