Hi all,

A question: Does MoF and + to skills stack regarding resistances? Or is it two different mechanics?

For example: Let’s say I have a healer that’s level 50 RR2. I have specced 31 pac. I have +11 to pac from my template and MoF2 (+9, classic server). I cast a level 27 AOE mezz. Will that spell in regards to resistances count as level:

27 (spell level) + 11 (from template) +1 (from RR2) + 9 (from MoF2) = 48

27 (spell level) +1 (from RR2) + 9 (from MoF2) = 37

27 (spell level) + 11 (from template) +1 (from RR2) = 39

(AFAIK resistance is based on spell level, not spec level – right?)

Any input is really appreciated since it’s been bugging me for quite some time .

Its 2 different mechanics.

Also, mof2 is only 6 spell levels for resist purposes, so 27 + 6 = a lvl 33 mezz, resist-wise.

On a sidenote, why 31 pac? 41 mend, 30 pac, 18 aug is what you should run

Really? So, what does + to skills do? "Only" raise effectivenes of damage/healing?

Heh, I haven't settled on a spec at all. I was just messing around with the character builder and I felt I had to know the answer to that question before I could do any serious planning .
