I know they updated the gear from some of the old world dungeons but did they update the XP gain there? Are BGs still the best to level or do old world zones now share the same XP bonus as the BGs now?

Also, when do the auralite repeatable quests in the BGs end? Is Molvik the last BG you can do those in or is it thid?

Thanks! Finally leveling a toon again

Ha ha awesome.

I have the itch to return also, but I'll let other people give accurate answers to the questions. When I last played, DF/BGs/NF were great xp and fun to level in. And I did the aurulite dungeons, I don't recall doing aurulite quests in the BG's (doh!). But someone who has played this year can answer better. ;p

The repeatable quests end in Braemar, so 29 is where those ends - but champion questline start at 30, so I guess that was the general idea there.

You also have a lot more options at 30 so it really isn't a big deal.

Old world zones have a bonus, but not as good as rvr zone bonuses though IIRC.

rested xp plus NF zones seems to be the way to go. on hib there are plenty of orange-red mobs behind the relic walls, all the way up to level 39 for me so far. every time I've gone I've found someone to buff me at the frontier keep by asking nicely in region chat.
