Anyone know how to turn the volume down on this or delete it? It's so loud I can hear it from my headphones three rooms away. I tested it, sadly.

you can mute your sounds in your settings and it does have an effect on your loading game too.

create a batch file and name it what you want, it has to be in the DAoC game dir, and in that batch file do this


cd sounds

copy AC1A_01a.wav Mythic.wav

cd..

start login.dll


now this bypasses the patcher and plays a cooler sound, you can change the sound to what ever wav you want, but on patch days you will have to run the full patcher.
