So I reactivate and goto the archived servers. I had 2 level 50 Hibs on Pellinor, 2 level 50 Albs on Lancelot, and a 40 Mid on Bedevere among various other levels


I went to each server and none of my characters are listed. I even tried Gaheris where I had a lvl 50 decked out Friar and nothing is there either.

Did something happen?

mythic doesnt delete characters so you did something wrong

Not to be mean or anything but how could I do something wrong?

Account name and password obviously work or I wouldn't be able to log in.

I know which servers I was on and I am able to access the servers. Just no characters there.

Ill pu tin a ticket and see whats up I guess

Except for long, long ago when Mythic deleted characters on Andred, Mythic does not purposefully delete characters.


There have been unsubstantiated cases where returning players have reported that characters were missing. It is possible for parts of the database to become corrupted and if the error is not quickly discovered, because the player is gone for years, the lost data could become irretrievable.


Chances are, the toons are on a different server or the toons are on a different account than you recall. The best thing to do is to submit a ticket in game and have a CSR check for your missing characters.

there are alot of people that opened multiple accounts in the past, then canceled.. then when they go to resubscribe they re-open the WRONG account...

it happens in almost every game.

I got a ticket in. I was part of the guild Dragons Bane on Pellinor and then Carpe Diem on Pellinor. Ive only had 3 accounts playing DAOC. The first one I sold and this one and my wifes (one level 50 rest buffbot toons). Haven't activated my wife's yet but maybe I should. JUST in case I checked all the servers and they all blank. Only other thing I can think of is hacked/erased. Guess Ill find out soon though lol.

This could be a dumb question, but did you go past the screen where you pick your realm?

I only ask because when i came back I got that far and thought oh crap, everything gone! I didn´t know that now you allways get that screen.
On the next try, out of pure exasperation, i just clicked on my realm and there they were.
