Question about +skills in templates

does +dual wield skill affect your offhand swing chance? (is there any reason to have +dual wield in template if you only use CS styles?)
also, does +base weapon skill have any effect on variance, weaponskill or anything other than style damage? (again, any reason to have +weaponskill if you do not use base weapon styles?)
thank you

+DW affects your chance to dual swing on alb & hib. I believe left axe (mid dual wield) swings 100% of the time regardless, but the damage output is increased as you raise skill in LA, so +DW would affect your damage per swing.
You should try to ensure you have 51 composite skill (spec + item bonus + realm rank bonus) in your base weapon skill as less than 51 will lower your overall damage with that weapon type, regardless of which styles you use.
