My best guess is without a bot, you can't farm most sellable/template items.

I use a focus shield pet class for most of my farming. (cabby/chanter/SM/necro)

I have a bot, so I can do a lot more.

I also used an archer to clean up glass and up to red con mobs. I was lucky I had

them as crafters and SOJ to salvage and sell off at the SOJ merchant.

If you have no bot; focus pets might not be your best route.

Using something like:
Friars, Vampiirs or Archers IMO. Works well, Friars require nothing, Vamps require nothing, Archers require dex potions; but will kill be the fastest.

I think Hunter is a good choice for Midgard at least (and presumably Ranger and Scout in the other realms). I am capable of killing mobs fairly quickly and steadily be it in a TD or in TOA for instance. Of course its easier if you have a shaman to buff and heal but its possible to farm with some consistency without one. I am currently working on my CLs and MLs by farming for glass in TOA, mostly solo but sometimes with my wife's shaman to back me up. Just make sure you spec 50 Bow. I wouldn't say its easy without a bot/partner mind you, but its possible.

A Summoning SM might do well too, but I doubt it would be as fast as my Hunter.

The game has been balanced based on the expectation you will have a bot account running - or be grouped up.

Friar, Vamp, Hunter.

Probably your three best unbotted farmers in each realm. Get some dex pots and a star drop if you're a hunter.

vamps are someone equipment dependent though

I'd go archer over vamp.

Archers are fine for farming lower mobs but when it comes to killing something like Galvorne they don't cut it.
