AMP is currently running a 'Do Your Thing' scholarship contest. My goal is to start my very OWN research program, specifically to look at the mental (cognitive) and neural underpinnings of religiosity and moral reasoning. Particular interest will be aimed at how the two can come to interact. Winning here would allow me to run the necessary pilots (Behavioral/Genetic - $20 per person, EEG - $120 per person and fMRI/DTI/MRI - $1000 per person) to establish myself with a base set of results and gain further funding from other sources.

What exactly is it you are postulating? Surely you don't genuinely believe religiosity is synonymous with morality at a neuorlogical level? If it were, why would I could keep reading about American preachers burning books and encouraging local authorities to ban scnientific texts or preachers being arrested for the abuse of young children they are entrusted with?

He's postulating that you need to relax.
