It seems like a lot of people use Legendary weapons in their Molvik templates. Everything that I can find shows that the magic on the weapon
has a level 50 req, am I missing something or does everyone just use it without the magic?

The elemental damage type (heat, cold, spirit, matter) always works. Which is nice if most of the people you want to hit are resistant to whatever damage type (slash, crush, pierce) you normally do.

And the melee damage bonus, of course.

Note, if you're an assassin, that leggies at 39 mean your DD poisons won't work as designed (they'll give you the inital DD, but NOT the chance of proccing another DD).

To my understanding, they still hit for magic damage(not the proc). And you still get the melee damage bonus. Why use em over reg weaps? I dunno

oh ok, that makes a little more sense. So you still get the elemental damage just not the DD proc from the weapon. Thanks guys.

Most people don't have casted resists or champ magic resits in molvik.

lots cap out melee resists if they can. It bypasses PD RA.
