Install windows via bootcamp worked on my mac books.

Of course every time a mac guy sees me booted into windows they cry blasphemy.

Any idea where to find one. I am suffering from serious DAoC withdrawals....

I didn't find any of the virtual machines that run in OSX to work all that smoothly. You just need to find a copy of windows and install it via Boot Camp. It plays flawlessly from my experience. Maybe a bit rough running 2 accounts depending on what computer you have.

I am playing DAOC on my iMac desktop at the moment. I have Win XP installed via Bootcamp and just need to reboot to windows when I want to play. Everything works extremely well. My computer is a few years old (first generation to have the aluminum body on the desktop version).
When I want to do something serious, I reboot to OS/X, and when I want to play games, I boot to Windows. Works flawlessly and I get the best of both worlds

I run bot on mac book pro, using wine, which I got from macports... http://www.macports.org/

Just install macports and install wine, then install daoc... few notes on installing daoc at appdb: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=9368

Bootcamp is the best way to do it.. running DAOC without an emulator on OSX / Linux is doable.. just don't get caught

I personally run bootcamp on my production laptop (macbook pro) and can run 2 accounts/vent/grooveshark no problem.

**PS** No I will not elaborate on how to do it natively in osx/linux, chances are you wouldnt understand.. and If you do understand command line and C++ / C# you wouldnt need me to explain
