I was wondering, as a mauler without anytime stun, how am I supposed to deal with stravers? Honestly, I lose most fights because people running threw me or something to get side styles off. I know its a no skill way to play, but it's annoying having to fight them and losing. Any tips will be useful, I normally play a Shaman so I have no idea how to play as a melee at all.

Strafers will continue to beat you, if you don't start doing it yourself. When you're dealing with inexperienced people, who just run through randomly, start slowing moving backwards and turning. Most of the time, these people will just run around unstyling you and being bad rofl.

As a mauler, knowing how to side strafe is key. No one will sit in front of your defense/offence and let you gain power that way. Plus you have a side stun yourself with a big time proc off the secondary.

Practice a little bit with a friend or guildy, or risk being farmed.

If you try to counter strafe their strafe with your own strafe, you might end up getting yourself stunned. Just a word of caution.

If you are still trying to get used to melee combat (or a new keyboard in my case), then the best option for you to start might be to backup/run-thru.

I'm assuming you are 50 fw, so just make sure to always backup with evade/side stun with ow or ps. Just takes some time and a bit of smashing your head against the wall.
