when i'm about to upgrade our pc's at home i would get these parts (regarding that we will use some parts from the old ones in the new machines like hdd/dvd)

1. Mainboard
Asrock Fatal1ty Professional
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157240&cm_re=fatal1ty-_-13-157-240-_-Product

Asrock Fatality Performace for lower budget and lesser connectors
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157253&cm_re=fatal1ty-_-13-157-253-_-Product

2. CPU
Intel Core i5 2500k (unlocked so oc able)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072&cm_re=Intel_Core_i5_2500k-_-19-115-072-_-Product

3. RAM
ADATA 8 gb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211457&cm_re=adata_ddr3_1600-_-20-211-457-_-Product

4. GFX Card
EVGA GForce GTX 560ti FBP
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130604&cm_re=evga_gtx_560_ti-_-14-130-604-_-Product

the rest will be taken from the old machines.

If needed get a good Midi Tower for example this one:

A PSU with about 600 Watts 80+ (Enermax, Corsair, Sharkoon)

The good things about the Professional board above:

1. Still a PATA connector
2. Still a Floppy connector
3. Lots of USB 2 and 3
4. 2 1 gb Ethernet interfaces teamable
5. 1 PS/2 Port for keyboard/mouse
6. OC Happy if CPU plays along

The GF560TI is good enough if you play on a resolution of 1900x1200 for all current games and has got some reserves as well.

ADATA Ram... just a personal favorite... use these for quite some time and never got any problems regarding compability or errors.

Kind Regards
