So I've been following this game called Prime for a while now. For those of you looking for an up and coming 3 faction PvP MMO check this out if you haven't already.

This game has a TON of potential. It's not a WoW clone at all. More like a daoc clone. Her's why I'm excited.


1. Independently funded

2. 3 faction - Cmon now

3. Open world engame RvR

4. Crafting that matters

5. SciFi

6. No GCD's(always hated those)

7. Siege

8. Very cool looking proffesions

9. Devs who played daoc pre toa. There's a TON of daoc references. Love it!

10. Pitch Black Games developers are(as of now) really listening to their fanbase.


Anyways I know there was a thread somewhere on the boards about it but seriously...look into it.

WOW I looked around the site and I'm very impressed with their concepts. Like every other independently MMO by a new studio, I'm not holding my breath for the game to deliver, but if - closer to the release date - it looks as good as it looks now, then I'm on board.

EDIT: Also I hear that Sanya is getting in on this thing. Is that true?

I think it said that most of the abilities are going to be instant, but if there are casted abilities, there better be a hard interrupt system. I HATE pushback mechanics.

Also i am a bit disapointed it is Sci-Fi, most MMO players seem to be Fantasy oriented.

Im not big on scifi either but If the rvr is good I dont care what the genre is.
