Just took my old Cathal Valley inf to 50 and need to get to CL5 so I can get the champ weapon for my template and use an astral mace to summon my cloak. Only problem is it's slow going so far. I've heard that RVR is the fastest route, but I'm hesitant to even try just yet because I'll probably just die a lot anyway. I still have the epic quests and level 30 darkness rising quests, which both give good CL xp if I remember right, but other than those, what're some good, quick ways to get up to CL5?

Circle of Five. If you have it flagged; you get 5 Champ Levels from this quest.

Quests are by far the better way to go, unless you're in a very good powerleveling group, even then its not impressively fast. Try doing the dragonsworn armor collecting quest or the alb equivalent of running wisps (forget what its called). Well, these won't be spectacular either but probably faster than leveling. Otherwise, there's some good high level SI quests, even some catacombs quests that give good xp, and you should be able to get to about CL5-6 doing the Laby solo that require mostly running around. Eventually you'll need help to continue the laby quests, but just go until you're asked to kill some high level mob and you'll get some xp.

Which one's the Circle of Five? That's the Darkness Rising line that starts at level 30 right?

The Labyrinth one is for the minotaur High Consul in the throne room, right? Got a quest from outside the throne room that took me out to a NF village to get Agramon soil to give to the High Consul but wasn't able to get a quest from him after that. Do you need to be a certain CL to continue with that line?

yeah i think thats the quest, starts in the throne room, at first you end up killing some stuff on agramon, and eventually you'll get in the laby. It might be a pain once you're in the laby. do you have a buffbot? Cuz actually, as an infiltrator you might be able to do a decent amount of those quests solo if you have a bot. Only downside is that some of the quests don't reward you XP til the very end and you might be able to start the quest off solo, but you'll eventually need help, and then you might not get the XP for it. But anyways I think I got 6-7 CL's on my ranger doing them, iirc.

You can also buy clxp from bounty merchants, if you haven't used your bounty points for anything else. Greater insight, 100 bp each, and give you 1600 champ xp per scroll.

rvr and use bps to buy xp (which yields clxp)

yeah... I talk to the high consul and don't get a response. I did a quest that started outside the throne room that had me go to the NF relic town and get a gift for him. Turned that in at the consul but there's no option to get a quest from him.

edit: found it. Had to talk to a guy near my trainer to get me set up on it.
