Author Topic: Mythic -Can you store UI/quickbar data along with character data? [Locked]

So for example you have an option in the options menu to load up quickbar template #1-5, or leave it as default and it will use the template stored on your computer. This means if you go to a different computer, or re-install and forget to backup character data, or most importantly if you respec, you don't have to go through all of that work setting up your quickbars. I thought it couldn't be that hard to store this data along with character data.

The same could be done with the chat layout. I know there is already a program for this, DAOC Chat Fixer, but it couldn't be that hard to have an ingame option which can overwrite the default layout.

Sometimes it ends up taking 10 minutes for each character that you log.

what i've been doing about this myself is copying the character ini file (and/or just the portion needed for the qbar and qbinds), save that in another folder so later just paste back in, also useful for new toons if you have common setup across characters

Mythic/Bioware isn't going to spend the time to do something like this!!!
