Having several accounts that I do not set to auto renew I frequently get emails saying my house is condemned due to account closure blah blah blah.

For example about a week ago I received this one:

The following message was recieved from your Dark Age of Camelot house on Ywain8:

House at lot #### on Ywain8 has been condemned due to account closure and will be repossessed in 120 days.

Then yesterday I received this one:

House at lot XXXX on Ywain8 has been condemned due to account closure and will be repossessed in 45 days.

When did they change the repo date from 4 months to 45 days?

I think 45 days is better, there are so many houses waiting for repo on ywain1 and 4 months is a long time for ppl there to wait.I know you can just make alts on other servers, but still, if people are gone for over a month they're probably not coming back any time soon

I think 45 is just fine as a change. I would like to see them start repossessing houses where the CM is full

Yes it would but the reason that those CMs remain full is apparently because you no longer pay rent when the CM is full. So for some its just that the owner forgot to clear it, but for the majority its just people being tards. Its deliberate.

The FIX would be to delist vendors the moment the CM is full. That would prevent me and countless other people having to make 20min trips across housing to buy something only to find its not actually available because the owner is being an ***. I waste a lot of game time with this every week.

JUSTICE would be to discourage people from doing this by making it cost them something, so people stop doing it. The best version would see it cost money so that more of it leaves the economy, since this is one of the most inflated MMOs I have ever played.

Perhaps if your CM gets full:
* It is immediately delisted, none of the items there will show
* Only the owner's characters can actually bring up the interface at all (so it can't be used as a boasting mechanism)
* Starting after 1 week, 25% of the money on the CM is lost, repeating each week until the CM is empty or drained by the owner
* While in the above state, 1 random item is deleted from the CM every day.

That should encourage people not to continue to abuse the system
