I was an old Alb on Guinevere years ago and have been considering a return. I would be starting over fresh as I have not played since TOA and can not for the life of me remember my account name and password.


Any server recomendations?

How is the game holding up?


I have a have friends that are casually playing but I'm looking for more opinions.

Used to play a Fire Wizard named Quinis as my main.

technically only 3 servers, ywain, a world cluster so to speak.

gaheris the pve server

and mordred the pvp server


both special ruleset servers have afaik pretty low pop compared to not to long ago. im going by heresay on gaheris, mord is making a small comeback but by no means is it near ywain numbers.


ywain averages i would say 3kish? +/- 500~ at any time.

ywain1-10 is mainly for housing options, you all play together, as 1 giant cluster.

On Ywain 1 it is difficult to find available housing.

may i suggest giving mythic a call and providing personal info and see if they can find the account for you, worst case is they don't and you'll still have to start over but if they do find it your golden /bow

It is worth a try but they would probably need the secret word.

You know, for years, people said secret word this, and secret word that. I was always really anxious because I had no idea what my secret word was. "When did they ask me for a secret word? WTF?"

So I call up Mythic one time on account of forgetting my infoz, and they asked me a security question. The secret word is a security question.

There are no rp servers and very few people are into roleplaying anymore. However, you can turn on your roleplay flag and it'll turn your name grey. You can also use /rpfilter and change words to be more "roleplay" safe. I do /rpfilter WTF Fie! and /rpfilter noob bottle-ale rascal.

The numbers are no where near their heyday, but are about 600-700 when I log on albion (I don't play peak hours however). The game is still fighting and battlegrounds are always fun.

I recommend Ywain X. Pick one server too, don't spread toons across different numbered ywain servers.... you will regret it (I know I do).

Pencil and paper in hand is always a good idea if you are trying to transfer more than 10 characters.

I transferred 100, I kind you not.

Always create mules first to scout housing if you really want a house.

Get a free name change. Create a mule with the same name as yer archived character. Transfer archived character over. You get a free rename. Delete mule.

Always check to see if your character got promoted to the head of some defunct guild while you were away. There could be vaults and coin.

Banner trophies transfer, but you can't put them up.
