Feedback works. Mythic have announced a hot fix to Pendragon regarding the items dropped in Summoner's Hall:

Hot Fix Notes for Pendragon Version 1.109c

* Many encounters in Summoner?s Hall have been adjusted.

* Based on feedback, the items in Summoner?s Hall have been updated.

* Multiple new items have been added to Aidon the Archwizard, Mera, Nychta, and Ard Tiarna Kieren.
