Howdy everyone. After a very long absence, I have decided to come back to the first game that sparked my love for MMO's. I just cancelled my subscription to Rift after reaching several characters to max prestige and after running around a bit I started to miss the old emain days of Daoc.


I stopped playing DAOC shortly after TOA came out. I have a lot of level 50's in all 3 realms. I really would like to play my Albion Armsman again. Are there any guilds that wouldn't mind taking me in and helping me out with knowledge of the new expansions and what I need to move forwarded with the game. Looking forward to playing again. BTW, my armsman was named Jish on Guinevere. Also had a minstrel named Jishtoo. I also have a albion Cleric buffbot as well. Are these still needed or can I save the extra $15 a month?

There are now realm buffs available in NF, albeit not quite as good as a bot with +25 to buff bonus, but still reasonable. Worth perhaps giving it a try before resubbing your bot.

Last I saw, there are a few alb guilds inviting via region. Additionally, Alb usually is running a zerg during the evenings and may give you an opportunity to get to know folks.

15$ a month is well worth the time that you will save setting yourself up, you need some way of making coin. There are buffs available but they'll give +140 rather than +155, you're better off with a buffbot even for that purpose.

p.s. if you haven't transferred to Ywain yet, then pick any server except Ywain1. All the servers are clustered into one, but housing zones remain separate, and Ywain1 has a shortage of housing.
