I vote Leirvik should be the 3rd hot zone.

actually come to think of it... maybe they should pick a third BG and do something to include participation there, so there's more than 2 options. I know there is incentive to go in all of them right now but it spreads the population out too much so there isn't really RvR in the other ones.

Actually you know, bring back the old Leirvik IMO. The straight forward open field combat with water in between each CK was just great. I really liked the old Leirvik. The new one is nice, but you'll never get it to be like Molvik.

And second of all, characters start to take a bit more shape after 40, maybe some of the OP classes in Molvik would even out a bit. People could get a bunch more artifacts (but not all of them, as they require level 45). I guess the difference is that everyone would have ML10, which is not very noob friendly for people that just want to play casually, and not have to farm on their level 50 toons to setup their BG toon.

Regardless, I think if they brought back the Old Leirvik, and we got some 8 man's in there, it could be a lot of fun. So NVM what I said about Wilton.

Don't think it'll happen though.

Molvik was fun for a little while, but to be honest its just too simple there. I went through a phase of leveling up a bunch of Molvik toons, made a whole bunch of group oriented characters.. I had a nicely templated level 39 Bard, Druid, Eldritch, Champion, Hero. It was fun for a bit, but in the end it just wasn't good enough to keep me there. Again combat is a little too simple and easy, and the class balance isn't very good either.

Also, I think that they should do this for the BGs:

Remove the RR Cap. HOWEVER (before you freak out), keep the cap on the number of realm skill points you can get for your level. AND, decrease the percentage of realm points you earn for each RR that you are above the cap. In other words, if someone plays Molvik for 3 days and hits the RR cap, start giving them 50% realm points until RR4, but don't give them any more realm skill points. Give them 25% to RR5.. 10% to RR6, and then maybe cap it after that. I still feel you should be rewarded for the realm points you do get in the BG's, and encouraged to eventually take the toon out of there.

There still needs to be another hardcap though. I haven't played Molvik in a while, but I'm pretty sure you could go from RR1 to 10 in Molvik a lot easier than doing so in NF. That's why u gotta start decreasing the number of realm points earned based on their realm rank. But if you want to stick around and just have some fun, then when you take that toon out of there after several months, I don't think it would hurt to be RR6.

The complication is this: What if you get RR6 in Molvik, then port out and train your abilities, then try to go to Leirvik, then you would be too powerful, unless they force you to /realm respec and then refund you only with the realm skill points based on the cap for your level. I'm sure they could implement a simple formula to determine how many 'unused realm skill points' you must have, based on your actual RR, and the level cap for the battleground, and have teleporters perform this check.

Well just some more wishful thinking for you. As I was saying I had a bit of fun on the Molvik phase I went through, but it got boring pretty quick and I just leveled all those toons to 50. It would be an enjoyable experience to stay in there more than the 3 days it takes you to hit RR cap and still have something to show for it, but after a few weeks or however long, move on to better things.

The over head bridges is one of the best features.

It would be better if 25-29 were the big zone instead of 20-24. Chars have more abilities at that level and its still stinking easy to hit and temp for. Its just thid because of /20 in the old (but not real old) days.

Killaloe!

Admittedly, it's hit-and-miss, but you can't go wrong with ganking the crap out of pve'ers who are on their way to one of the upper bg's to do the same thing to other pve'ers.
