So i installed Daoc on my PC at work and ive tried to patch the game for the first time but i am having issues starting the patcher.

I click on the shortcut on my computer and it asks for permission to start the game but despite the fact the process shows ony my task manager i am not seeing the patcher. The computer is for 3d graphics so it has more then enough ram and hard drive space so that isnt the issue. So far ive tried to..


-Run as an admin
-set to XP under compatibility
-install as an admin
all of this and nothing so far,i cant get the patcher to appear.


any suggestions?

Sorry that I do not run vista but try this, set the game.dll to also run as admin

Never had issues with vista/7 and DAoC ever.
