Hi all!
There is the updated version of my UI.
You can download from here: Valmerwolf's mods
or directly from here: customenglish1110

I suggest to clear the existing \custom directory except maps subdirectory.
Then extract the files into this \ui\custom directory.

Remember to use the ComponentChooser.exe program by Bioplasm, you find in custom directory.
There are many options.
My UI are intentionally made to be easy to update and not too invasive, for new patches.

Have a good game!

I think that, for some strange reason, the files you have to change are "Only Reading" in properties.
The program gives you that message because it's unable to modify a protect file.
Click on the file with the right button of the mouse and take a look at the Properties.

To obtain your same result I had to set the file as an "Only Read" file.
Doing so I got the error message.
But I've seen on other PCs that the files have been unzipped from the network with no problems.

Maybe there is an active option of your unzip program...
Let me know, please.

I had this issue on Windows 7. SOLUTION: Run the component chooser program with administrator privileges. (Right click on program icon->Run as administrator)
