So i recently came back to DAoC and i like it a lot, already have a couple of high levels blah blah blah...so anyway, main problem is whenever i try to change my options at the character selection screen, for example , changing to windowed mode, or changing the screen dimensions or changing the skin, i'll press accept and the options will just revert to what they were before i changed them. Anyone have any idea what to do?

I think all DAOC settings are saved to text files on your hard drive. It might be some kind of weird Windows permission issue where the DAOC executable doesn't have the right to modify those files under your user account. Try right clicking your DAOC shortcut and select Run as administrator. If you are then able to change your settings successfully, you'll know that's what the issue is. If not, I'm not sure what it could be.
