When you think the game can't sink any lower after the patch...just wait a little while and they will out-do themselves.

maybe they didn't mention that it was down, but I logged in just fine last night when I cancelled both my accounts. For the record, I will/may resub when they fix the crash to desktop issue but I happen to be one of the ones who is plagued quite badly from it and the game is almost unplayable. So I'm not gonna pay for another months worth until its been fixed.

I assume if the account management is offline for a significant amount of time that they would mention something about it on the Herald.
