Are you running Win7 ? Don't remember if the method im about to mention, works in older Windows versions hehe.
Anyway - go to the folder where you hid your files. Right click on the folder and choose Properties at the bottom.
In Properties, at the bottom you can see some Attributes, which are called "Read Only" and "Hidden".. Unclick "Hidden" if its enabled

If not, you can go to Start Menu, and at the bottom where you can type something
to search for, type in "Folder Options".
In "Folder Options", go to the tab called "View", and in the middle of that window, is a
function called "Show hidden files, folders and drives" - click on this and press OK all the way.
