I had a few different accounts, was thinking about doing a 14 day free trial, don't remember what toons are on what accounts. Do I get a 14 day free trial on each account?

Not sure what I did a while back but if you send EA saying forgot account name they should give a list of names that are linked to your email as long as you made accounts using that email.

And you get free 14 days after being down for 90 days.

That presents a problem. I only have 1 daoc account attached to my eamythic accounts page, and "that particular" account is not available for reactivation (thanks Sanya). After being on the phone for 30 minutes or so, we came to the conclusion that the person I was speaking with couldn't search any deeper than what was on the eamythic account. That means I have 2 other accounts that aren't attached to the eamythic page that they don't have any information on. At the end of the call, he told me I should call darkageofcamelot support, and maybe they could find my accounts......really......shouldn't that be at the top of the customer support script when you choose option 6, for the person that answers to read?....

Looks like day 4 winding down and EAMythic still can't find the accounts I paid for, for 4 years? I heard there was no support for DAOC, but wow, had no idea it was this broken. The actual daoc/warhammer support staff is not available to speak to on the phone ?!? really? and the EA staff is, ummm, uninformed? about much of anything to do with DAOC.

Oh well, I gave it a shot. No way I'm starting a new account, after having 3 accounts full of characters. I find it hard to believe that they can't identify my accounts, even if I can give them the character names on the accounts.

They should be able to. Perhaps you were talking to a lazy customer rep.

Two things you could try.

1. If you ever made a backup of your Mythic info or the old user.dat file, and if you can find it on an old HDD or old backup, your account names will be listed as text in the user.dat file. The account names are listed on the line that says accounts=BCDEF with the account name shifted one letter. So BCDEF would be account ABCDE.

2. The other thing that you could try is to send an email to DAoC support and give them some of the toon names and ask if they can email you the account names.

They may not do it, because of security reasons, but if your email is the same as what is on the account then DAoC support may send out the account names.

GL with it.
