Hi everyone.

Lately I've been wondering if I should come back and play a bit. Is it worth it?

Last time I played, was about a year and a half ago. What has changed since then? I've seen some posts about people leveling up in Battlegrounds now?

I have several 50's all of which I wouldn't mind playing. But sadly one of the accounts with my main, got hacked some time ago, and I lost all sellable items :-( How hard is it to get back on your feet?

Best regards,
Gixi

If you miss it indeed it is. Find a good guild and you will be ready to compete in no time.

Battlegrounds have been given repeatable quests which allow you to level up in no time and all the way to 50. I leveled a bard to level 39 in less then two days and was up and running and having fun.

They also changed the rewards system in the BGs,you now get BP bonus and every BG has a merchant that sells a pretty good although basic armor with decent stats and resists. The BGs also have a buff merchant which allows you to buff up in the BGs.

The final Bg which takes you to 50 is also popular from what i have heard and you can make RR5 by BG alone.

What ever toon you roll make it a metalworker so you can salvage and begin to make money.

Game has been made much easier in terms of reaching the end game and i re upped 6 months ago after a 4 year absence and i am enjoying myself quite a bit.

The BP gear can't be sold to a vendor, but it can be $alvaged. Every BG has its own Tier o' Gear rendering the previous tier into dead weight in your bags.

Yes. Come back. I cannot speak for items and temping out, as I recently returned myself, but leveling is outstanding, the BGs are great fun, and the community is unrivaled.

If you level something new in Midgard and want some friends to roll around with in the battlegrounds, message any member of the Battleground Vanguard.

I came back this week and have gotten 4 characters to 50 in about 5 days. It's fast in BG's. I went 40-45 in less than an hour.

Your largest holdup on BG quests will be movement speed. Get a caster at a minimum, bard / skald / minst preferably for rolling through quests.

RvR numbers aren't what they once were with huge zergs taking multiple keeps, but the action is enough so that it is enjoyable. Cathal normally has decent 8man fights occurring. I just wish there were a couple hundred more people on during peak for RvR. I'm in US Central time and I find that there is good action from noon (peak Euro time) until about Midnight / 1 central US. After that you'll have to search a bit for your RPs but you can find small mans / solos out. On the weekends there are obviously more people playing, but if you're not a night shifter or a person who has to play off peak, it's worth reregistering. Also, templating isn't too hard, but obviously it helps to have a guild or farming class for scales / glass.

It's worth it if you can remember your username and password. I have been lucky to remember some account passwords but I still have two that I don't and there is NO WAY to recover them.

Are people really that dumb? Ever think of using one of these?

...but if you are to cheap to use a credit card and have just gone with prepaid cards in the past,

then yes getting your characters back would be imposible since you have nothing for them to run a trace with.

A zerg is more than 8 so stop your crying.

You keep posting that picture. I do not think it does what you think it does. ;-)
