Has anyone seen illruneurday, mypetswillkillyou, tonkdatank, or thebestdotinkilla? I'm wondering about a friend of mine who disappeared. He and I used to play every day until over a week ago. It's not like him to just disappear and not play with me anymore.

I know it's a little strange to post this on this forum, but I'm a returning player who's been away 5 years, and I have a precedent. Back in 2005 one of my guildmates was in an artifact raid with our guild and then he typed "brb I smell smoke" and went LD. We found out months later that one of his cats had turned a lamp over in his basement starting a fire and he was in the hospital with burns for several weeks. Ever since then, if someone I play with almost every day just disappears after agreeing we'd play again the following day, my mind goes back to that fateful boat trip in Oceanus when our Inconnu friend said "brb I smell smoke" and was never seen again....a DAoC horror story.

I haven't; but I also don't BG. I would suggest not to worry =o) I mean, it's the Holiday season he might have gone for a few days, if he is a student (which by those names, he's more than likely a younger fellow) then he has tests around this time of year.

If you feel like this about close in game friends, exchange some emails, facebook, etc.
