Are there any roleplay/guilds still existent?

I'm afraid there are no pure RP guilds still around.
The guilds I have created and mostly am a part of ask to have the /roleplay flag on; but there's rarely any type going on.

If you do an /who rp... it's pretty sad what you find. Like Pwnzyougood (rp), Ripppinkidz (rp), Facepwnez (rp)... where you're just like
"Ah yes, Noble Pwnzyougood, how are you my friend? It has been a long time since we've rode into battle!"
"Supp bro I'm just rippin kids that are scrubs and stuff I am pretty top shit man" (notice the punctuation)
"Very well, it was nice to speak to you alas! Good luck... erm... Ripping kids."

Kind of miss the good roleplay days where you could be a barbaric vikings, and play it so.

Those sure sound like fun people to interact with. <rolls eyes> It sounds like I might just have to be content if I can find a guild with "nice" people who can form coherent sentences, and punctuate them too!

Or stop being a grammar nazi and enjoy the game for its merits. That's always an option

It's not about grammar, it's about how people interact.
I could care less how people spell, write, punctuate... That was just my example of your average DAoC interaction.

He/She asked about roleplay, I gave him a person with /rp on lol.

Additionally, it's painful when you like to roleplay in game; and most people you talk to, you'll have to reread what they're writing like six times over just to understand what they're trying to get across. Being perfectly honest, half the people I know don't even write in-game, they're just in vent 24/7. (edit)

Which Ywain instance do you play on Vladasa?

They are all linked my friend =o) you can play on Ywain 1-10 and interact with any player!

I wouldn't suggest going Y1, because buying/owning a house there is a mess!
I'm always looking for people to play with as well! So, you can find me in game or leave your character/realm in this thread and I'll find you out there sometime =o)
