Constructive Feedback
I have been a player of Dark Age of Camelot for amassed 7 years now and I have enjoyed every bit of it. I do not see the game in bad shape; instead I still see the game having potential. I am overall looking to see Dark Age of Camelot peak again because I know that is it possible. Below is a list of idea that I know would breathe some life into the game again.

First we want to look at what we can do within the means of cost vs. player recruitment some of the suggestions I have are:

Character Copies from Mordred and Gaheris: This one is pretty popular and you may have heard of it, allowing players that were mainly located on these servers to Copy their characters to Ywain. I say copy because in the state of the game currently these servers are less desirable in their current states. Maybe if things go well Mordred and Gaheris may pick up again and if these players wished they could return to their original characters on these servers from where they left off at the copy. Since the Rule sets are different, Gaheris especially it would be a good idea to only allow character copies for characters created at a certain date. This alone would offer some incentive to players who once had glory in their battles on these servers to reignite their passion for Dark Age of Camelot in Ywain.

Lifting all bans with a limit, a lot of players in the past have problems resubbing because of all the hard work that has been lost. In these times I like to look at the greater good for the foundation of Dark Age of Camelot. When I say lifting all player bans I am not suggesting a get out of jail free card, more over putting a limit on these affected accounts. That limit is Zero Tolerance; basically these Banned Accounts are allowed to play again but if they breach the T&A Even once no matter how minor they are placed back in permanently banned accounts. This is completely a possible feat I have gone 7 years without breaching the T&A.

During the last seven years, DAoC has lost 90% of its population.
This suggests that your judgement, expressed above, is suspect.

As to your suggestions, let's not and say we did.

Personally, I would rather not have cheaters back in the game. Not the kind of people I want around

Morded i can see, PvP players might not want to take the time to create a new character and have it level 50 in *8 HOURS* cause there some lazy SOBs...

but Gaheris is just a silly silly idea... its people that want PVE all the time and dont care about RVR/PVP... they'd rather have the opertunity to run up and level another character then copy to ywain...

NO! absolutely not. characters that cheated should not be allowed back in the game period... the players can and in alot of cases did return to the game with new accounts... but the characters will ill gotten gains were still banned, and should ALWAYS remain banned

DAoC needs some major content changes, revamps or additions before it will be anywhere near marketable to get players to return...

the base game mechanics are concepts are great... but the complete lack of PVE content is whats killing it... sure theres alot of content currently... but its 99% useless, you dont ever have to do any of it, and the rewards arent worth the trouble in most cases, and its all been made way to easy.

if you wanna draw people back into DAoC what needs to be done is a complete wipe of all content and rework it from the ground up, so leveling actualy takes time again instead of almost instant level 50 and no sense of acomplishment... make it so the content that is available is challenging and entertaining not a flash in the pan and boring as hell... make it so it feels like an adventure and epic raids with a lot of people... thats what people expect and want from a MASSIVE MULTIPLE PLAYER ONLINE ROLEPLAYING GAME...

they want massive, and to be able to role play and have fun... not a short and quick ride to the level cap.

the majority of MMORPG players dont give a tos about PVP they want epic, challenging and fun PvE.

if i want to play gaheris i have to reroll, if i want to play mordred i have to reroll. sure i can /level to get some of the way there but then i still have to template, so not exactly a super easy thing to do. the people who play gaheris and mordred chose the ruleset they chose, they leveld and geared on that server. allowing copy would in essence be giving them free characters on a new server. if you allow it one way you have to allow it the other. if copy from these servers is made possible then copy to them should be allowed as well. my other concern is i feel that alot of pvp folks will be upset at a bunch of new rr12 and 13 characters coming over to ywain with realm ranks that some see as undeserved as they were gained through pve. this will increase the already annoying level of bitching that takes place. is it so hard to reroll on ywain? no. when i left 2 years ago i gave away my account, so when i came back i had to reroll, less than a year back and i have 11 50's and half of them are templated. i could template the rest i have just been too lazy to do it.
