hi, ive been back for 4 months after a 6 year break and ive subbed a bot account.
its my 1st time having a bot.
im needing assistance with a druid spec for duoing with my animist.
i know i can google spec.(which ive done in the past every time)
however im looking for a place with updated spec. i seem to only find specs from 2007-2008.
i found specs for my ranger only to realize pathfinding doesnt exist anymore.

so basically what im asking for is a decent druid spec for pve with my animist(1st time with this class as well)
and a place i may be able to find updated specs for various classes.

im sorry if i posted this in the wrong place.
and thanks for your time.

download charplan if you already haven't.

it's fine to go 44 nurture for a buffbot. Even if you drop down to a regular druid rvr spec like 42 nurture or 40 or 39 nurture it will work as a pve bot just fine.

well, i was wondering also about heals.
with that spec will the heals be very good?
and also, having realm npc buffs available, will nurture still need to be as high?

im not too knowledgable(sp) about healing classes.
i just assumed it would all go into regrowth for healing since the npc buffs are here now.

Bot buffs are still better than npcs buffs. With a 25 heal temp, your greater heals would be fine for pve... even if you were 50/20. In all honesty though, druids aren't very useful for animists. You'd be better off with a chanter, something with an ml9 pet and that can focus pull etc.

You can heal just fine with a 39-44 nurture spec and the rest in regrowth. In fact I would argue that you heal better like this in PvE (even in RvR sometimes) because the power consumption on the heals is much lower, and they still do plenty enough to keep people alive. I would recommend speccing Nurture up to purple acuity. I think this leaves you with 33 regrowth, 33 being quite nice for the second best Major Heal which is your most used heal. You will have +147 str/con, +155 dex, and good acuity. Who cares about 8 str/con it doesn't matter, except if you are buffing a pet then you might want purple str/con, because there is no cap for buffs on pets, still won't make that much of a difference. I think you can get 2-3% extra haste at 42 (?) Regrowth but you might have to drop the level 33 Major Heal.

So again just spec your Druid however you would like for RvR with about 39-42 into Nurture. Spec the rest into Regrowth. You will be a perfectly acceptable buff bot and a perfectly acceptable healing class too.

Also try using the /train command when you are standing still. Can help you plan your character but you might need to do some manual calculations unless you already /respecced.
